Place Head Here

1. Playing songs for dancing.
2. Power overloads.
3. Speakers go dead.
4. Me wanting to die.
5. Fixed, sound comes back.
6. Repeat 2 thru 5… twice more.

Harlem

From the 1972 movie Across 110th Street, this classic soul track from Bobby Womack is like its own short film.
The lyrics are written to create this vivid backdrop and to tell a story of struggle in a difficult New York era. The orchestra makes the tale even more cinematic.
They don’t make songs like this anymore (except for maybe R Kelly, but it’s still not the same…)
