New video from East Vancouver’s Shimmering Stars for “I’m Gonna Try”.  All shot around my fave block in town.

They played their first ever Vancouver show at No More Strangers and were so good, we rushed to rebook them.

They play Nov 19th at the Cobalt with Carnivores from Atlanta and my other fave new Vancouver band, Victoria transplants, My Friend Wallis.

Now at its fancy new weekly Friday spot at The Cobalt (+one offs around town), we along with Beatroute Magazine have been putting together a very slick line up of upcoming bands for August.  Im going to go so far as saying our best month ever / most exciting by far.
