Seven months ago Boston’s Xavier released his first song “Now” which was a real exquisite R&B track that left us wanting more, today Flow-Fi’s Aywy releases his own remix with additional production by Chris McClenney and it’s just as good. On October 6th Jaden Smith released a short minute long music video for “Fast” and Gravez who’s been featured on Soulection Radio took it upon himself to add a bit more bass and his own little twist to the track, stream above.
Jay Prince from London released his first record “Polaroids” off his up and coming EP (BeFor Our Time) and Poland’s Chloe Martini gives it a funky remix that makes you wish summer was still around, stream above!
Vancouver’s Electric Input collective have been busy stepping up their game, they’ll be releasing a new edit or remix every two weeks from each of their DJ’s/ Producers which will result in their first edit/remix pack. First one up is Phate, he takes on Ryn Weaver‘s “OctaHate” which originally is a alternative electronic indie pop song but Jay Stevens gives it a nice Jersey Club remix. Stream or download above!

Daniel Ness working out of London & Paris adds a smooth Jazzy, Soulful, Hip-Hop vibe to the modern hit single, this is a great 90′s take on a modern hit. The independent label Flow-Fi have been putting out a lot of good music lately with new artists pushing the limits on different styles and sounds. Flow-Fi co-founder Aywy and Sh?m who is also on the label teamed up for a great edit to Craig David’s first single “All The Way” from his 2005 album The Story Goes…. These two take the originally R&B track into a more danceable and club vibe with some great production and a nice modern take on a great song. Stream or download above.
More Vancouver artists collaborating is exactly what we like to see, singer/producer/rapper Unjee from Van has been posting tracks on her Soundcloud for quite some time now. With her latest track “so long (u_u)” she held a remix contest and Van’s Hrvy had to be thee best one of the bunch taking the song to a completely different vibe adding house elements.
