Atlanta’s C. Justice & LA’s Fortune team up once again flipping Ludacris “What’s Your Fantasy” from his second studio album Back For The First Time, this is their third single off the upcoming collab album. Stream above!
The future of R&B has been getting pushed by several artists and Penthouse Penthouse are a great example of that, since their first releases on Soundcloud a year ago they have grown in sound dramatically. “Last Stop” is a nice modern R&B track with JNTHN STEIN on bass, this group has the sound and potential for radio play. Seven months ago Boston’s Xavier released his first song “Now” which was a real exquisite R&B track that left us wanting more, today Flow-Fi’s Aywy releases his own remix with additional production by Chris McClenney and it’s just as good. Stream both tracks above and keep an eye out for Xavier’s EP coming out soon.
C. Justice and Fortune collaborate quite well together and this new joint really shows how groovy they can be together, this is the second track off the upcoming collab album for these two and this time they put their own spin on DJ Mustard’s “TY$ Checks“, stream the track above!
Dave Luxe has been steady working on new material and this right here is a great original track that really shows his progression and flexibility. Still keeping that deep and heavy sound Dave adds the great vocals of Kaya, the only way I can describe this song in one word is “R&Bass”. This cat has been pushing some nice edits and remixes but this original material has got us excited for more, stream or download above.
The independent label Flow-Fi have been putting out a lot of good music lately with new artists pushing the limits on different styles and sounds. Flow-Fi co-founder Aywy and Sh?m who is also on the label teamed up for a great edit to Craig David’s first single “All The Way” from his 2005 album The Story Goes…. These two take the originally R&B track into a more danceable and club vibe with some great production and a nice modern take on a great song. Stream or download above.
