New Hermetic
Hermetic is Eric Axen (baritone guitar, lead vocals) and Bart Newman (drums, backup vocals). They draw inspiration from high-energy post-punk (Minutemen, Fugazi, Mission of Burma) and heartfelt 90s indie rock (think Jawbreaker, Inbreds, Plumtree, etc).

Vancouver’s Young Liars have released their debut EP, “Homesick Future”.
Winnie really can’t say enough good things about it.
Not to brag butttttt, we’re pretty stoked on being the first to blog them back in August… because they are going places. Their live show is tops too. Congrats guyss we’re rooting 4 u.

Sooo I just want to start off by saying this past Saturday was off the chain. Austra + Humans + Resorts = mind blowing good time! This week we got a couple more grrreat shows 4 u. Starting off with this wednesdaze, HUMP at Lick (455 Abbott), we have half of humans, Autacoid as a special guest! + djs wobangs & hunk the drunk.
Then on thurrrsday we have an awesome lineup @ Goody with Weed, Foonyap and The Roar, Babysitter and Beach Deamon.

1irsties: We have a NYE party that doesn’t cost $45 and def won’t suck if you like secret warehouse parties. There are still $10 early bird tickets avail (cause we posted it like 5 days ago). The line up is pretty sick if I might say so. Blood Diamonds is headlining it with the Oh No! Yoko bros, Autacoid (one half of Humans)and a lot of really good djs.
2nds: Facebonk deleted our No More Strangers group so were starting a new night. Right now i’m thinking of calling it something with the word “fuck” in it.
3rds: I made a brand new mixtape. The first in over a year. I’m pretty stoked on it and you should download it and share it with your friends.
