This has got to be the most fun music video that I’ve been cast in! Don’t Talk To the Cops! are fam and they brought out hella #lovefamily affiliates to be in the flick for one of the many hyped-up, eclectic jammers off the recent Champions Of Breakfast album – available on iTunes HERE. This vid was filmed and directed by Seattle mastermind Stephan Gray - he did a beautiful job displaying the style and the edits go perfectly with the song!
Cameo’s of Seattle performers/musicians from the likes of OC Notes, Trent Moorman (percussion master/writer for The Stranger), Chocolate Chuck, Bobbi Rich (H$H DJ), The Hill Rats fly girls, etc. I also wasn’t the only Vancouverite in this one – homies from Nine Vancouver, Niksone Design and the ever talented Diamonds In The Rough dance crew all made appearances. S/O to the new friends I made and especially DtttC! ilu.
Jiggy S Club 7 choreography with wind machines blowing around baggy denim, and real clean hair was definitely not an expectation of a new 100′s video. Esp. after lines like “Romeo and Juliet had sex” preceded in an earlier
coke sosa video. Even more especially when said last music video from ‘Ice Cold Perm‘ came out last summer.. Well, really really clean L’Oreal paris looking hair actually was expected. Also, 1999 might be a bi anthem.
You can download ‘Ice Cold Perm’ for free (HERE), then, get yourself a better picture painted as to how much of a G this video does not portray him as.

I can’t believe I haven’t posted this song yet since I listen to it almost every morning. If you haven’t met this tall-magical-music goddess then I suggest you do, at least on the internet. She’s from the same tiny island as I am, Cortes and I met her when she and a giant group of young people with their faces painted came and danced like crazy people at a show I played on Cortes in the summer. She came on stage and painted my face then we all went down to the beach and watched a meteor shower. YES IT WAS AS MAGICAL AS IT SOUNDS.
Take a moment out of your day and watch her whole youtube channel, everything she makes is gorgeous. Oh yeah, and she’s only 19!

The new “CBG” Music Video Just Dropped Yesterday! If you haven’t checked them out yet then watch this video of pure trap swag!
One of 2012′s memorable club tunes was a quirky, catchy disco instrumental titled Inspector Norse. The official music video centres on a regular guy whose interests happen to include making his own drugs, wearing Christmas lights and dancing wherever he goes.
Yesterday a link popped up on Facebook and I discovered the story was real. Poignant and funny, if not a little exploitative, this award-winning short by Kristoffer Borgli explores the fate of a man coming to terms with his love of music and his life as a never-was.
