I’ve been listening to this all weekend… it’s an unreleased song produced by U-Tern and AJK with vocals by Roxy of Love & Electrik. Yay Vancouver represent! Apparently this jam was finished in August of last year, but never saw the light of day until now. I wonder what other gems these guys are sitting on…

Cordova – Paradigm by U-Tern

A massive installation of High-Voltage A/V can only mean one thing – Red Bull MegaHurtz is back. On November 13 at Vancouver’s W2 Storyeum, Red Bull promises to deliver the goods, submerging partygoers in a cataclysmic live production and new expression of electronic music orchestrated by twelve top artists from Canada and beyond, ranging from the grindcore ghettotech of Mixhell to superproducer and MC Black Milk. Rather than simply deejay, the acts will introduce their personal studio elements to the stage and perform live original and remixed material for the dance floor. As hands go up, frequencies will peak. Mix in a few instruments, gadgets, super powered computers and a visual show just left of George Lucas, and you have the makings of a Red Bull MegaHurtz.

This Tuesaday Winnie is rocking Live Transmission at Shine and were bringing some serious heat.

We’ve been wanting to do a show with Love and Electrik 4-evs and now the time has come!

They have just got back from touring across Canada with the Redbull Masters of Remix tour.  Their first single Sex Video (which recently got a little blog love from Discobelle) is gearing up for a full release with some remix support from Grahamzilla (preview it on his myspace) of Thunderheist. Basically they are the shit.

Vancouver’s own Love & Elektrik were featured in the mighty Discobelle a few weeks ago.  I think they’re super rad / have got the goods to blow up huuuge.  They rock that 80′s over the top pop funk thing that some people don’t pick up on the tongue and cheek element of / Chromeo type of deal where people don’t know if it’s a joke or not.  Its definitely no joke.  Let’s get naked.
