Bounce Camp… what!

Too cool for school half time working Bounce Camp hit me up with this perfect for the weekend bounce joint!
And judging from what i have heard from him so far. I think we have a whole lot more to expect from this finish cat now based in Berlin.
But as a start, enjoy this track.
Bounce Camp – Show Me Love Remix
Get Ben Mono

Blog hausers, Purple Crush seem to be in a constant remix hype, always coming up with some new joint.
This time it’s something different that has come out, it’s not the normal remix with big kicks and wobble bass…
Germany’s remix king, Ben Mono has outdone himself and put together this wonderful play-rave, baile house track. I’ve had it for some time now and have been eagerly waiting to blog it. It’s a sure killer on the floor too, mix it with Niyi’s, Ameilia track and your a god walking among mere mortals.

Nic Dro

Self proclaimed “King of Pop”, Nic Xedro, or Dro as his friends call him sure has a lot to live up to.
I have to say, he does it well. First single, “see you in the club” is definitely a banger. It fits perfect in the sound system of your convertible. It’s commercial t-pain RnB with integrity n soul.
I wouldnt be surprised if Nic was swedish, his music contains that hard to grip contemporary coolness that only the Scandinavians seem to have mastered.
“Im A Freak” has something almost naive about it, bumble bees flying through the summer air kinda feelin, still keeping with in the dark RnB sound Nic Dro seems to thrive in.

the Krames Burger

I’m sure you have all heard about the Luther Burger. This takes the game to a whole new dimension.
I’m here to introduce the Krames Burger! Yes, the Brooklyn based DJ. We had him over for NYE.
The morning after we all felt like shit, me, Krames and Oh Snap have to hike off to another city to do a gig.
On our way back our train breaks down and they turn off the heating. Krames trying to catch a flight to Stockholm and me wanting to get home. After a couple of hours the close to -20 centigrades cold starts to creep in to the train. The misery is maximal.
Krames misses his flight but we final get back home to Berlin. To comfort us Krames tells me about his dream, a burger that can create peace with its share power of tastiness, that can unite tribes and stimulate growth and prospirity, just using its awesome power of tasty.
What I now present to you should not be taken lightly, but with grave seriousness. It’s a burger, its a natural power, its the Krames! 2 grilled cheeses devouring a burger patty… mmm.
Recipe:
2 persons
8 slices of toast
2 veggie burger pattys
1/2 Red Onion
2 small tomatoes
2 cups of shredded cheese (mature)
Mustard Sweet and Spicy
Ketchup
Pickles
Butter
1. Start frying the Burger pattys in one pan.
2. Dice the red onion and, In a different pan, sauté the onio and take it out of the pan.

3. In the same pan, Fry all the toasts on both sides.
4. Keep 4 toasts in the pan and add the cheese. When the cheese starts melting a little, add the sliced tomatoes to two of them and the red onion to two of them and put the remaining 4 toasts on top of that. Flip them around.

5. When the grilled cheeses and the burger pattys are ready put mustard on the top of one, place the burger patty on top of that, then ketchup and pickles and the 2nd grilled cheese.

6. Voila, it will make every thing feel better!

And a couple of tracks to enjoy while you are cooking:

Dj Wool, the Irishman former New Yorker (one half of the Glass) now living in Berlin hit me up with this package a little bit ago… i had the possibility to try the two tracks out on the floor this weekend and ill tell you the Sharkslayer remix kills out there. just try it out, im sure you will love it!
Dj Wool – Star of East Berlin (Sharkslayer mix)
While your at it, peep the original track as well. I think it offers much more, where the Sharkslayer mix is just a peak hour dance floor blog house track, the original mix is versetile, it can bump in your whip on your way to work, in your stereo or at the dance floor.
Dj Wool – the Star of East Berlin
He also did a lil remix of Omar Doom, He’s an American Actor/Musician costarring in Quentin Tarantino’s new movie ‘Inglorious Basterds’ currently filming in Berlin. Peep it!

Ive heard that they eat dogs in China but in South Africa…
South African House superstar DJ Cleo seems to have it all, hits on the radio, a gardner, lots of good friends and a kinda lager then life aura. Maybe all of this made him mad, or bored. “All work n no play makes DJ Cleo a dull boy” kida situation.
Or maybe he hated his gardner who is known only as Petros. There are many theories. Here is a pice of meaty journalism for the hollydays. And it truly is my favourite rumor right now.
******************************************************
The SPCA have been trying to question DJ Cleo for the past year after one of his dogs was sexually molested.
The dog was eventually put down as its intestines were hanging out when it was brought to the SPCA in Randburg on May 15 2006.
The dog, a Boerboel bitch named Tiger, was in such a “shocking condition” that the centre manager, Phillip Roberts, threatened to have the two musicians that had brought the dog in arrested on the spot.
Sunday World established that the two musicians who took the dog to the SPCA were DJ What What, real name Brian Kgoe, and kwaito singer, Mavo, who refused to supply his real name.
DJ What What is DJ Cleo’s protégé, while Mavo works with Chicco Twala.
Mavo confirms the incident.
He says: “The centre manager wanted to call the police to come and arrest us after it was established that the dog had been penetrated by a human being. We told him we were just messengers as the dog belonged to DJ Cleo.”
He confirms that the dog’s intestines were hanging out of its private parts when they brought it to the centre.
He adds: “We were released after Phillip took DJ What What’s contact details. “We promised him that we were going to ask DJ Cleo to phone him.”
Mavo claims that when they delivered the message to DJ Cleo, born Cleopas Monyepao, the award-winning house music star started laughing and didn’t even try to phone the centre. Mavo adds: “The story about the dog (being sexually molested) became the best kept secret. I don’t know how you guys found it out.”
A Sunday World source claims that a plan was hatched to frame DJ Cleo’s gardener, known only as Petros – because “he was a Zimbabwean national and illegal in this country” – as the culprit if the police came and questioned them.
The source says: “Petros was so angry when he found out that he was being painted as a dog rapist. “He resigned on the spot after telling DJ Cleo to go and rot in hell.”
When Sunday World visited the centre on Friday, they confirmed the incident regarding Tiger but refused to elaborate further citing “doctor and client confidentiality”.
A source says DJ Cleo was phoned several times to come and explain how and who molested his dog but each time he hears it’s someone from the SPCA, he hangs up the phone. The matter was not pursued after Roberts left the centre in December.
When Sunday World confronted DJ Cleo about the allegations, he vehemently denied that the SPCA had been trying to contact him. But he confirmed that he sent his dog to the centre after it was molested. He says: “They are telling lies. They never tried to contact me.
“But it is true that I sent my dog there after I found it with its intestines hanging out.”
The muso also confirms that he was told by his two messengers, DJ What What and Mavo, that the SPCA had told them that the dog had been molested.
He adds: “I questioned my gardener about the matter but he denied it. But one day when he was drunk he admitted that he did it and I fired him.”

DJ Cleo says he loves dogs and that he owns four at the moment.
