Lana Del Rey – Born to Die (3.A.M. Remix)

3.A.M. are back with another one of their signature big room anthems. These 3 young producers sure love their sound design, you’ll know what I mean when you hear that ever so gritty low end rumblin through dat bassline. Cop that free download from these generous gents.

Scuba’s DJ set at FIVESIXTY in August was one of my faves of 12′. He’s on the rise after departing from his previous dubstep sound to hard hitting techno with a dash of trance.

20. Carly Rae Jepsen – Kiss

There are several reasons why former Mission, BC resident Carly Rae Jepsen made our list this year. Firstly, according to my iTunes library I’ve listened to “This Kiss” a total of 62 times, with “Wrong Feels So Right” coming in at a solid 42. Secondly, ya’ll know you listened to “Call Me Maybe” at least once this summer while simultaneously enjoying the fuck out of yourself. And lastly, my roommate went to high school with her and apparently she killed it as Dorothy in the “Wizard of Oz”.

Compton-native Kendrick Lamar returns rap to a gloried art form with “good kid, m.A.A.d city”. As his major label debut, ”GKMC” explores Lamar’s childhood through poetic rhyming, strategically placed skits, and collaborations with some of the industries biggest names, including Drake and Dr. Dre as executive producer. 1. Lana Del Rey – Born To Die (The Paradise Edition)

Lana Del Rey – Summertime Sadness
Oh Lana, how dare they say such mean things about you and try to tell you that you are not #indie, manufactured and judge you based on one Saturday Night Live performance. They do not know you like I do. We know it’s not true. They just want to dismiss your genius so they can feel better about their terrible lives. We won’t let them do that to you. You are #1.

Now You Do – Black Fabio

Hip-Hop duo Oreo Jones and Action Jackson are back with the first single off their upcoming Black Fabio mixtape “Black 2 the Future.”
“Now You Do” picks up where their first mixtape left off, with Oreo’s tight ass rhymes over Jackson’s genre bending samples and 808 trap drums. And for a little extra joy, you’ve got Lana’s sexy vocals to remind you that love really does exist.

Lana Del Rey – National Anthem (Video)
What a beautiful way to wake up. After months of speculation and anticipation the video for Lana’s new single “National Anthem” has finally arrived. And shit, my boy ASAP takes sexy-stylish to a whole new level. However, I wonder how Iggy feels about his constant caressing of Lana’s backside.
Alright, I’m gunna go back to crying from cuteness now.
