Off to the Races – Lana Del Rey
I’m not going to waste your time. You already know who Lana Del Rey is and I’m 99% sure that at some point in time she’s given you a musical boner. Okay lets be honest, she’s given you a straight up stiffy on numerous occasions. And I don’t blame you. She looks like Julia Roberts in “Pretty Woman” but with a better hair cut.
Personally, I’ve been counting down the days till January 31 since I first heard “Video Games” back in October. This is when Elizabeth Grant aka Lana Del Rey will release her debut album “Born to Die” with Stranger Records.
“Off to the Races” is the fourth cut from her self-titled EP and Lana continues to please with her perfect pervertedness. Regardless of your thoughts on her recent SNL performance, this song will put you in a hypnotic trance. Even straight, boy crazy females will begin to wonder what it’s like when she slips off her red dress and puts on her make up. It’s pure perfection, just like her porcelain doll face.
