WE <3 GRIMES

Pretty hypnotized and inspired watching Claire Boucher a.k.a GRIMES performing “Genesis” in a more intimate setting. I think I played this 10 times already? Getting me pretty pumped for her show Feb 18 with BORN GOLD at Fortune Sound Club. This is going to be an early show and her last show in Vancouver sold out!

Grimes “Genesis”

Brand new track from Grimes upcoming LP “Visions” out January 31st. This is the second single from the LP. If this is any indicator of what’s to come we’re in for a treat…

Tickets are moving fast for her February 18th show at Fortune Sound Club. Grimes sold out her last outing to the Electric Owl.

FADER TV: Interview With Grimes

Grimesies idols are weezy & katy b, I think she has a lisp too? I had a stutter when I was younger. She’s coming to Vancouver on the 17th of November to The Electric Owl Social club. Can’t wait.

New Grimes LP “Visions”

Grimes is about to release her third LP, “Visions”. Recorded entirely with Garage Band she is wanting it to be considered her debut despite her previous output.  It is set for a January 31st release.

From the Arbutus Records website:

Her newest album, Visions, incorporates influences as wide as Enya, TLC and Aphex Twin, drawing from genres like New Jack Swing, IDM, New Age, K-pop, Industrial and glitch.
