SCUBA at FIVESIXTY – August 1st

Scuba at FIVESIXTY

Who doesn’t love a good mid-week slammer? Well this Wednesday our pals over at FIVESIXTY are going hard with Scuba (U.K.), who is coming to Vancouver for the first time to promote his latest release “Personality”.

As a DJ, producer, promoter and label head (Hotflush Recordings), Scuba aka Paul Rose has made a solid name for himself in the EDM community.  And his mastery of all things dance music has not gone unnoticed.  He’s been named to Resident Advisor’s top 25 DJ’s for the past two years and Pitchfork called his LP “stylishly retro, all coated in a futuristic 2012 sheen.”  So trust me bb’s, this is one show you don’t want to miss.

Advanced tickets are $15.00 but Bass Coast ticket holders will receive 10.00 cover with proof of purchase.  Doors at 9:00pm. More information here.

TONIGHT TONIGHT TONIGHT.

Bestie

My bb, the one and only @tristanorchard, will be taking the stage at FIVESIXTY tonight with the babes from Bestie. They’ll be singing about foolish hearts, pineapples, and the side effects of eating too much pizza. Also on the bill are local favourites Supercassette, and Ville Kulla, who are set to kick off their nationwide tour. Let’s send these gents out in style, with tons of gin, tight pants, and large boobies. Doors at 7:30pm because it’s an early show ya’ll.  More information here.
