Vancouver’s very own, Jovin, brings to you a refreshing new light on Drake and Rihanna’s hit track “What’s My Name?” Dubbing the remix as ‘Aubrih,’ a clever adaptation on the successful Toronto-based rapper’s real name, this coincides with the light, bubbly sounds that are clearly evident on the first listen. With just the right amount of house and bass, Jovin, no doubt puts a playful and upbeat, feel good spin to this track that will be on repeat all summer long. Stream or download below.

Ulterior Motif producer Jolin Ras gives Drake’s “Child Play” off his album Views an upbeat facelift along with smooth saxophone played by the man himself, stream or download below.
Chapel Sound producer Heroshe released quite the juke project Jukes From The 6 which premiered on FADER this week and it’s definitely an awesome take on OVO camp jams. The 6-track EP includes Juke remixes for Drake, Majid Jordan, Roy Woods among others and does it very tastefully, we can’t wait to hear more from this local producer. Stream the project below.

Just 8 months since his last release “CELEBRATE//LIBERATE”, Mark Mills is back with a brand new LP entitled “1.6.16” which I can only guess is in reference to its release date January 6th, 2016. I had the pleasure of seeing Mark play only a month ago at the Biltmore Cabaret for Schmusic where he walked around the room with his wireless microphone singing passionately to each individual there. It even included a dedication of his first track “Silver Fox” to the only silver fox in the room.
I can say from experience that it was the funniest and most unique performance I’ve seen in a while. His new LP combines dance beats with electro pop and layered vocals overtop. It’s definitely worth picking up, pay close attention to the lyrics.
Catch Mark live at the Drake Tribute Night on January 21st at the Biltmore Cabaret.
