The Chinatown Mall have been at it for quite some time bringing you the latest emerging local clothing brands along with several other goods. Each sale is packed to the brim with unique finds from local streetwear brands, collectors and designers as well as selected local artisans. Currently, Chinatown Mall is preparing it’s next showcase of new fashion, design, visual art and music, September 20th at Fortune Sound Club. Below are the booths for this Falls line up:
◕ MANIA MAG BASEMENT TAKEOVER & ART SHOW ◕
maniamag is taking over the basement project space to produce an art show featuring young artists and creators. They’ll also be adding installations upstairs throughout the venue.
◕ VANCITY GASTROS POP UP RESTAURANT ◕
Vancity Gastros is a collective of young chefs, delivering unique dining experiences. They’ll be offering up a special menu of mouth watering handheld food at the sale.
◕ VOGUING WORKSHOP BY RALPH ESCAMILLAN ◕
Dance workshop happening in the maniamag art show downstairs, taught by Ralph Escamillan.
◕ DRIPSY COLLECTIVE MINI SHOP ◕
The kids from Dripsy Collective take over the Livestock room to create a multi dimensional shop with original tees and prints. Sounds provided by Dripsy Collective djs.
Thomas Tha First x Hauntxr collaborate on a special audio visual set.
Thomas Tha First is a promising young rapper based in Vancouver.
HAUNTXR is a visual artist who has created visuals and music videos for the likes of Yung Lean, Chief Keef & more!

Vancouver’s Tight Club Athletics will be hosting their first Tight Club Buy and Sell consignment pop-up shop at This Open Space which will be featuring new and lightly worn athletic lifestyle clothing and accessories for men and women. They are also accepting new or lightly worn athletic lifestyle clothing and accessories for men or women to sell, so if you’ve got any yoga mats, jackets, tights, runners, toques and anything else bring them down. Today is the last day for you to turn in clothing to 343 Columbia St between 5:30-7:30pm, the actual pop shop will be Saturday January 24th between 12pm-8pm, click here for more info on the event. 2013 marks the 10 year Anniversary of L.A. based, lifestyle brand, The Hundreds. In Celebration of this milestone, The Hundreds and the The Hundreds Canadian sales and distribution company, Take Five Trading, will be hosting an event at Fortune Sound Club on Tuesday, July 30th. The event takes place on the first night of Canada’s largest lifestyle apparel trade show, KNOWSHOW, and will feature live performances from L.A.’s THE REJ3CTZ, JILLIONAIRE of MAJOR LAZER, FLIPOUT, and special guests.
