FiveSixty Concert Series
Spring is upon us and we here at Winnie Cooper want to celebrate with some dope tunes presented at one of the hottest venues this city has to offer. So let me introduce the “Thursday Concert Series” at FiveSixty.
It all starts March 15 with the CD release show for Vancouver’s very own Glass Kites. This five-piece progressive rock band has been making the bitches and critics swoon with their hypnotic self-titled debut album. And if you’re smart enough to show up, physical copies of the album will be available for only $5.
Supercassette, Bed of Stars, and Facts, (which stars Winnie contributor Estaban Bel Chere), will also be taking the stage.
You seriously have no excuse not to attend this killer event, as advanced tickets are only $8 and $10 at the door. Oh, and did I mention the $4.50 highball and beer specials! Bands go on at 8:30pm so don’t be late.
