Beach House – Myths
Since it’s release, Teen Dreams has become a staple to any indie listener’s album diet. Two years since it’s release, the songs still feel refreshing and powerful, but another release would certainly be welcome. Beach House’s new track, Myths, picks up where they left off in a sonically familiar territory, but the mood of the lyrics is excitingly different.
Beach House’s new LP “Bloom” will be out on May 15th via Sub Pop.

The Dirty North
When I was in Grade 4, I did this huge project on Sweden. It was this elaborate book report and picture board about herring, Volvo, and furniture.
Ever since I have been fascinated with Sweden and it’s free daycare, uniquely successful economy, fashionable culture, and 18 month maternity leave… not to mention Lykke, Sahara Hotnights, The Cardigans… (sigh). WTF!? Why is everything so awesome there?
