Erol Alkan and Boys Noize released  Waves this past august. An Epic piece of electronica.

They then asked piano maestro Chilly Gonzales to create his own version of the track. Released today on itunes and Juno along with a 4 minute B-side of Gonzales explaining the story of how it came about.

And on a side note here’s the battle that Gonzales had with Andrew W.K this past September in New York. Equally as epic.

Winnie TV episode 7 is finally complete. This one has been in the works for a while.  It was shot at the Andrew W.K. and The Evaporators “A Wild Pear” split 7′ release party at Neptoon records on Main Street.  We shot this back in June but its finnnnally done.  Big thanks to Nardwuar and Andrew Wk for being swell peeps.  Check it out and learn about how Nardwuar and Andrew W.K. became pals amongst other things!

It will feature a live performance by The Evaporators w/ Special Guest Andrew W.K!!!!!

Andrew W.K. has teamed up with Reggae and Dub legend, Lee “Scratch” Perry and produced his latest album, “Repentance” which is out now.

Pitchfork TV has a very nice video (above) from their adventures in the studio together.
