It’s been said that true beauty comes from the depths of a broken heart, and I’m beginning to think this isn’t just an urban legend.
New York-based duo MS MR released their debut-studio album “Secondhand Rapture” earlier this month and from it comes several tracks about longing, loss, and complete romantic despair. However, one track in particular, the impeccably titled “Think Of You”, will be remembered for years to come.
With “Think Of You”, Lizzy Plapinger and Max Hershenow (who make up MS MR) perfectly encapsulate what it feels like to realize the person you once loved was a toxic bomb of negativity. They were (and probably still are) a burden of hate with dark clouds that follow them everywhere, picking you up to bring you down.
Yet, somehow after hearing this song, you’ll get a sense of satisfaction from the fact that they were completely wrong, and karma is one hell of a bitch.
