Blue Hawaii x Try to Be
So I was in my car2go listening to CBC and this song came on and I had to pull over and crank it and just sit there and soak it in. I like a lot of music, of all different varieties, but it’s very rare for me to be so moved by a song. I’ve been listening to it pretty much non-stop since I discovered it a few days ago.
Blue Hawaii is comprised of Montreal based real-life lovers Agor and Raph (also of BRAIDS). With names like those you pretty much have to fall in love and make a cool indie band. They’re sophomore album ‘Untogether’ is due out March 5th on Arbutus Records which is also home to the effervescent Grimes. You can pre-order ‘Untogether’ here.
