No Angels (No Scrubs Cover) – BASTILLE Feat.Ella
One of the first CD’s I ever bought as an angst-ridden pre-teen was TLC’S “FanMail”, which of course featured the smash-hit “No Scrubs”. While I had never kissed a boy at the time of the records release, I somehow knew exactly what Chilli, T-Boz, and Left Eye (RIP) were talking about.
Now, thirteen-years later, Bastille -UK artist Dan Smith and his band- have released a tone-downed version of my favorite jam. “No Angels” is off Bastille’s latest effort, “Other People’s Heartache pt 2″, and you can download it here.
