DJ Crush First Edition: Murlo
Hey doods, I’m Blondtron and I’ve joined the league of extraordinary bloggers here at Winnie Cooper. I’m writing this in my underwear at home drinking a beer on a Sunday night which I’ve been told is one of two ways to blog (the other being seated in a hip cafe wearing an unnecessary scarf). I’m starting a weekly ‘DJ Crush’ to share with you some of my most loved producers. You might already know some of them, but many have been found through what I like to call internet K-holing where you just click through people’s favourited tracks on soundcloud and end up in magical places, discovering magical things. I used to do this with myspace and travel through my favourite artists’ ‘Top 8′. RIP MYSPACE :(
So without further ado I give you DJ Crush First Edition, Murlo.
London based Murlo is the perfect balance of soca-bashy-dancehall vibes. His remix of Lengoma was my summer-acid-air-mattress anthem. Best thing about this radical dude is that he gives almost all of his amazing music away for free on soundcloud!
