ANAMI VICE EP Release Party @ Fortune Sound Club

Oddly enough, Vancouver-native and rising hip-hop artist Anami Vice was discovered by Josh Ramsay of Marianas Trench, or rather those dudes who played at the Grey Cup halftime show. Now, almost three albums later, Anami’s sarcastic rhyming style has been compared to the likes of Mac Miller, Asher Roth, and OnCue.
He recently finished up a national tour and is signed to the infamous 604 records, the same label that hosts Mission, BC’s very own Carly Rae Jepsen. And yes, she really is from Mission. To top off an already amazing year, Anami will be celebrating the release of his latest EP, “Are You Serious”, at Fortune Sound Club on December 5. The night will also feature performances by local rap duo Hot for Astronomy and The Simpson Bros Band.

Tickets are now on sale and you can cop them online or at Highlife, DIPT, Red Cat, and Beatstreet Records. We’re also giving away a pair of tickets! Just email winnieguestlist(@)gmail.com with your name and number by December 3 at noon to enter. Please include “Vice Contest” in the subject line. Must be attending the Facebook event page to qualify.
