P.O.S. – How We Land feat. Justin Vernon
As Bon Iver winds down, Justin Vernon returns to the hiphop game, appearing on the new P.O.S. album We Don’t Even Live Here. The follow-up to 2009′s rad as hell Never Better drops today, and it includes the not-as-unlikely-as-it seems collab. For those that don’t know, P.O.S. is part of the Minneapolis based Doomtree crew, who were also part of the Vernon-led mass collaboration Gayngs. So it makes a lot of sense for the two midwest artists to hook up again.
The track is an absolute jam. The production is on point over the whole album, but shines on How We Land. P.O.S. brings the effortless flow, with just enough pissed off vibe to give his shit an edge. Vernon has his hook-machine in full gear, and gives you the crooning you’ve come to love/expect.
