Diamond Rings – “Free Dimensional”
Our favourite bleached blonde bb Diamond Rings has finally revealed the cover art and tracklisting for his upcoming sophomore project Free Dimensional, which will be released via Secret City Records on October 22. Later that week, the Ontario native will also be hitting up David Letterman to make his Network TV debut.
According to a press release, Free Dimensional retains the same clever juxtapositions and lyrical honesty that garnered him kudos for his 2010 debut effort Special Affections. “A big part of being afraid of something is not understanding it,” he admits. “Once I became more comfortable with the medium of electronic music, it was only natural to want to improve.”

Diamond Rings has just announced his first wave of headlining shows in the US following his fall tour dates supporting Stars. More Canadian tour dates will be announced soon. And hopefully Vancouver will get a shout out.
