Sideways Sideways

animedanceparty

These guyz r dancing real fast aren’t they?

Anyways, I’ve been listening to this song a lot since I was lucky enough to get my grubby hands on the full official version.

Srsly keep your ears open for the release because the preview/snippet doesn’t even include this insane drum breakdown at the end of the track.

A Winnie Cooper Christmas – DEC 22 at the Waldorf!

I like to get the children in my family gifts that they don’t want or use, just to teach them disappointment and sacrifice. Usually it’s donations to Unicef, so some other kid who actually deserves it can get a soccer ball or a bike. I’ve also given pre-paid ballet lessons for little boys being raised as homophobic macho men. I love Christmas!

This holiday season, WinnieCooper is having a Christmas party that won’t end with your cousins crying over their newly gifted tutu. We’re hosting a multi-room Christmas party and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada Benefit. With live bands:

OH NO! YOKO

VILLE KULLA

THE GAY NINETIES
The Gay Nineties – Love Sick

PHILOCERAPTOR & INHERENT VICES

and

TEEN DAZE

Wobangs will be playing in between sets while Christian Flores and Tristan Orchard  hosting a Soul / 50′s & 60′s / Motown Dance party in the hideaway.

THE BEST PART! You don’t have to feel bad about showing up hung-over to Christmas Eve with your families, because this party is for Charity!

Partial door sales and all proceeds from the raffle will go to support participation in Team In Training and help advance LLSC’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Here are some of the amazing raffle prize donors so far:

the interview show: Raleigh

If you ask the guys in the Calgary-based band Raleigh what their name is about, you might get a few different answers: the bike Brand, the city in North Carolina, or Sir Walter, to name a few. They call themselves a “prolk” band (prolk = progressive + folk) and they have an undeniable cool girl-guy duo vocal thing going on over songs that flourish like slow moving waves.

This week, I get into a little “he said, she said” when I ask the band’s core Clea (holding the sign) and Brock (in blue) for their story and I find out everything there is to know about Raleigh.
