Brooklyn’s Little Star Dweller has a new track and video. It’s reminiscent of The Orb with it’s early 90′s acid feel. Winniecooper premiere.

Awesome Awesome
This Neptunes produced track for 17 year old Compton rapper Buddy is a bit of a surprise – it’s good, and I like it.
Lately, we haven’t heard much from Pharrell and Chad that has stood out, especially since we’ve all had high expectations based on their reign in the late 90s to early 00s.
When you listen to this song you don’t hear that signature Neptunes sound though. It is a bit formulaic, but whatever it works well and the song rulez. Thumbs up! Boom it in ur jeepz (or your hand-me-down Corolla)!

DyE DyE DyE
“Tigersushi and Excuse My French are pleased to present the new video for DyE’s new single, Fantasy. Directed by animation wunderkind Jérémie Périn, the video tells the story of a group of highschool kids ready for teenage mischief. They break into the local swimming pool intending a session of innocent nightswimming, in an awkward climate of romance and apprehension. What happens next is for you to discover here. nsfw.”

Tops

Tops have been born out of the ashes of now defunct Montreal based Winnie fave, Silly Kissers.
In TOPS’ new song, Diamond Look, singer Jane Penny re-imagines herself as an impossibly distant beauty queen – mocking all suitors, perpetually a rooms-length away. Her vocals pierce through layers of instruments to tell a story of glamour and fame. David Carriere coaxes semiprecious guitar figures, while Thom Gillies and Riley Fleck provide a driven yet serpentine backdrop.
