New Slam Dunk Video
Our favorite Victoria band Slam Dunk have a new animated video for their song Bleacher Lovin.
The song is off of their 2010 debut, The Shivers which is highly recommended and avail for download or on vinyl at their bandcamp thingee.
It made me immediately want to check out the filmmaker, Zee La Ma Geela’s other work which is below.

New Forms Festival 2011
You guys ready for this weekend? We know Winnie is. Founded in Vancouver in 2000, NFF facilitates multimodal art works and engages in discussion on their role in our cultural environment… now, what the fuck does that mean?
A shit ton of rad tehcno music and totally awesome modern art installations (usually having to do with lights) … deal with it!
Here we’ve included some of the amazing talent New Forms is bringing in (Resorts, Humans, Deadbeat) and thrown in a few links to familiarize ur brain! All info can be found on their website here, and you can buy passes and tix here. Tickets and festival passes are also available at Zulu, Beatstreet, Vinyl, and Red Cat Records.
