MayaVanya At Easy Now
guyz i’m getting pretty excited about Easy Now this Saturday at The Waldorf because New Zealand’s MayaVanya will be playing and it will srsly be suuuper fun.

the Easy Now residents Genie + Cherchez as well as those Radiozero dudez will also be playing, plus there will be bands too! Facts and We Need Surgery will be playing starting at 10pm and Winnie deejay goof Flowers will be playing a lil’ set early.
holy moly so much happening on one night, it will be a busy one so come to the Waldorf early ok? doors at 9 bands at 10 we gon haz sum funnnz!

the interview show: Bikini
Like a lot of bands this month, Bikini are on the move down to Austin for SXSW to try to captialize on some good word of mouth about their music. Bikini is two guys, Olivier Olivier and Nigel Diamond, who met in music school in Victoria, BC and now count the east coast as their home.
When I reached Olivier Olivier, he was painting in Montreal, a couple of 4Lokos into his night. This is somehow fitting given the guys describe themselves as “Salinger on LSD.” Listen to our funny chat. And we don’t even get into Nigel Diamond‘s incredible “secret identity.”
