Jackyl tore up the scene just as hair metal died and grunge was ascending. Frontman Jesse James Dupree‘s claim to fame is adding a chainsaw as an instrument to Jackyl‘s set. (And, yes, Jesse has a guitar tech AND a chainsaw tech waiting backstage.)
Jackyl are back with a new record, they are not focusing on using the chainsaw in the new material, but they are still all about straight-up old-school party rock.
