Supers Dupers

Ridiculously catchy new material from SuperCassette.
I think they started as a cover band in Vancouver?? but then again i’m not paid for my “journalisms”.
The band features Tony Dallas on drums which is always a good thing.
HEY RADIO PLAY THIS SHIT I’d take it over Nicklesback ne day. ok bye.
OH yeah and Supercassette pls play No More Strangers again. Sept 3rd mebbs?
The last time they brought their own lasers ^^… How cool is that?

Shake Them Tassels

Tassels is Vancouver based artist / musician, Sean Orr who also happens to have a very entertaining Tumbr.
His latest project is for the most part dark and menacing dub. This track has a delightful bouncing glee to it though while maintaining a nightmarish quality….
His new Ep, Blog Step is out and available for a recession friendly $5 purchase hrrr.
Alonzo Wang

Vancouver’s Alonzo Wang / Cthulhu Nightmare has a chillwaveish mix of original tracks for your ears.

write that i’m going 2 the Die Antwoord on spacebook n H8rs start callin, “gimmick” on it.
Im not even sure wut gimmick means?
I think gimmicks are a good thing. Isn’t 3d/Avi-tar a gimmick? The Beatles via moptops. orr daft punk, don’t they have moar than a few gimmickz?
I think ppl think D.A. r fakin it.
Not that i’m a “racialist” or nuthin but I know like 2 South Africans and they r pretty crazie. They wud tell me stories bout being rlly good at fightin’ growwing up in Johanissburgie 4 survival. One of them “introduced” me to “K” and that shit is effed.
Mebbe the h8rs aren’t getting enough lifty n should just smoke moar to help them relax n stuff? via this song.
Neways, they can h8 or call “fake” all they want because the show (as I heard their Coachella show wuz) killed it. prolly the best i’ve seen in a while / nxt level. I think I even felt a lil/lot bit of “dem feelins” during this heated number. (top video)
Wuz surprised at the number of ppl that knew the words to all the songs, considering they barely have anything out. One bro even had his own t-shirt he made for the show. I got all excited that there was mebbe sum sweet merch so I could rep the zef 24/7.

Yo-landi, if yr reading this, my marriage proposal is still out there. i’ve got the papers and evrythin, u just need to sign. We can make next level beats n stuff.
Slowly
I’m really liking this song from The Sea Of Cortez out of L.A. It makes for a perfect Monday daydreaming jam.

the interview show: Melleefresh

Melleefresh is Canada’s resident super vixen dance mogul. Most know her as the woman who discovered Niagra Falls DJ juggernaut Deadmau5.
Did you know that Tommy Lee is one of her biggest fans? And not only that, but Melleefresh has a little secret. She was also one of the voices behind a certain mega-memorable children’s cartoon show… (You didn’t think I was gonna just tell you, did you? You have to listen to find out.)
