Fried Day

Soooo apparently deep fried Coke is like an actual thing. I would try this for sure, but that’s not saying much since I would probably eat my own arm if it were deep fried.
The weekend is back and I’ve got your Friday song! Oh man this is a good one… especially at about the 3 minute mark. Grab a deep fried soft drink and get loose!

Our fave lil Vancouver hero Cameron Reed of Music Waste fame has been blowing up with his Babe Rainbow project. His new “Shaved” EP is out Feb 8/9th on Warp Record (who you might know?).
Also check out some love from the mighty Stereogum who premiered his Doom remix…
MF Doom – Gazzillion Ear (Babe Rainbow Remix)
We could go on but we mainly want to brag that we put on his first live show.
He has been collaborating with the Salazar people who have done little mini films for each of the songs on the ep. Check out the teasers they’re splendid and creepy and just how you like it.

FYTIF

Do you ever find you have these obscure childhood songs buried in your forgotten consciousness?
Rediscovering them can be pure bliss. I mean sometimes they sound dated and nothing like you remember but other times it’s like, fuck yes, let’s go dancing.
The Mints Of Idaho
The Mints Of Idaho are from Germany (I think).
They need a roadie… named Romeo. Oh and he needs to love rodeo.
These girls so crazy.
