the interview show: Bonaparte
I spoke with Tobias the main man behind Berlin band, Bonaparte, in the wee hours of the morning. He purred on over the recevier as he sat with his two cats.
Bonaparte is one crazy carnival live and they want nothing more than to come to North America. Can anyone help them? I dunno about you, but I wanna see them live.

Parlovr (pron: Parlour) were on Spin Magazine’s recent list of the top up and coming Montreal acts. I saw them at Pop Montreal and they were amaxxxing.
These are from their self titled 2008 debut. They have a new album in the works which is going to blow up huge(you heard it here first y’all).
They are in France right now, then hitting up SXSW before making their way across Canada with We Are Wolves to the Biltmore, April 15th.

Winnie has been featured in the current, “Vancouver Issue” of Ion Magazine!
Ion have just opened the Ion Pop Shop on Hastings at Carral. They are selling locally made clothing, jewelry and art work. I’ve been by and it looks amaxxxing.
This past weekend, Alonzo Wang put on an impromptu performance there and was joined by one of the more interesting neighbors.
