the interview show: propagandhi

Propagandhi describe themselves as “visibly aging punks” and they have continued to give all that experience back to their hometown Winnipeg, as well as Canada’s entire punk and hardcore scene. Their music is always packed with a potent point-of-view that is becoming increasingly necessary (but sadly absent) in the ever-more corporate-controlled music industry real estate.
My favorite track of their latest release, Supporting Caste, is “Dear Coach’s Corner”, where the guys call out “national treasure” and perennial loudmouth Don Cherry for using Hockey Night In Canada as a personal soapbox.

The guys are about to tour across the western half of Our Home and Native Land, so see ya at The Rickshaw!
