Yes very good flick - I've got a couple friends from the est Midlands and they are proud of their Ska 2 Tone roots - Still up north for my liking though even though I do love "The Specials" - Too many good tracks to list. Buster blood vessel is a legend as well. There's a great Music documentary from the early eighties called "Dance Craze" which gives a really good representation of the Ska 2 tone music scene back in the day. I was too young but remember my old man dancing around the living room to Madness, The Specials and The Beat amongst others. It's just music to move your feet brother.

Brilliant film. I remember the early 1980s very well and it's spot on.

The director is Shane Meadows and he's also made other great films - 'Dead Man's Shoes' (with a superb performance by Paddy Considine) and '24/7' (with Bob Hoskins) to name but two.

And... I have this song on vinyl, bought at the time it was released! :-) My favourite song by Strawberry Switchblade though is 'Trees and Flowers'. Probably the only pop song ever about agoraphobia...
