We’re doing a new weekly post highlighting our local Vancouver scene.
To start things off we have hometown hero’s, Japandroids.
They have just released their debut album, Post Nothing which has been greeted with a 8.3 pitchfork rating and a feature on their coveted, best new music section. Anyone who knows aaanything about anything will understand this significance.
They have been taking the internet by storm. Everyone is writing about their lo-fi noise pop sound which sounds like a load of nerdspeak. I think it’s better put that these two dudes rock pretty hard and their music is great.
East Van represent.

Really like these guys – Need to go and see them I feel. Remind me a little of Death from Above and maybe even a band from deepest darkest wales called McClusky.
