I’m pretty sure Merriweather Post Pavilion will be in a lot of peoples top albums for 09′. Continuing the trend of rapping over samples from the latest hip(ster) band for internet fame we have 607’s take on Taste.

Phoenix’s latest, “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix”, is a pretty damn stellar pop album. It’s set for release, May 25th. This is a tight new wave/disco/pet shop boys-ish reworking of 1901 from Mother Father. You can download the original for free from Phoenix’s website!
