Sludge King

I recently got a new ipod and I like to fill it with mixtapes instead of just single tracks.
This mixtape by the mysterious and elusive Sludge King has been on HIGH ROTATION. It’s serious pure metal fury, not for the faint of heart. You need this in your mixtape collection…

Spaceship; did you miss me?

Hi everyone,
it has been some months since my last post.
I’m now living in New York, pursuing my career as a fantastic artist. If anyone has some amazing sightseeing tips or knows the best diner; please let me know!
I understand that I have alot to make up for so I have a remix of late 80′s/early 90′s house that must be right up your alley.
The DJ is unknown but here is the link – 303′s & 808′s (zShare)
The other thing that I’m very excited about is this great, great, great Italo song that I finally found on the internets!
Laurice – Disco Spaceship (vocal)
Laurice – Disco Spaceship (instrumental)
Got bless..
Hot Fire

Swedish producers Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg aka Blood Shy & Avant were behind Britney’s “Toxic” and “Piece of Me” as well as doing work for Kylie Minogue (which is a good excuse to add a Kylie photo).
They have teamed up with Andrew Wyatt of Fires of Rome & Black Beetle and are producing work under the moniker Miike Snow.
They have a debut self titled album coming out June 9th.

controller.controller

I used to live in a West End studio apartment years ago where the entire building was made of brick and concrete. So the soundproofing was absolutely amazing and I could put my tunes on blast at 3 AM on a Tuesday night and my next door neighbour would not hear a single thing.
This is one of the tracks I remember maxing the volume out on. controller.controller are from Toronto. Sadly, according to their Myspace blog the band members have moved on to other projects and it looks like the future of controller.controller is up in the air. Booooooo.

Well I enjoyed it…

Well, we know who cleaned up at the 81st Annual Academy Awards. Congrats.
What’s up with the haters coming out of the woodwork against Slumdog Millionaire? There’s nothing wrong with a story that makes you feel good… tears of joy are normal. Despite what my parents taught me, my therapist said crying is okay.
Pop.
Top 10 video of all time. just because of the crystal balls and the girls in the shower..

Francesco Vezzoli

Francesco Vezzoli likes to incorporate short film in his installations and has a knack for working with major Hollywood stars in the process. His trailer “Democrazy” shown at the 2007 Venice Biennal starred Sharon Stone as a Hillary Clinton-like politician; check out my favorite, the 2005 “A Trailer For A Remake Of Gore Vidal’s Caligula”, which stars Courtney Love as Caligula and features Benicio del Toro and Milla Jovovich.
Vezzoli’s newest installation is “Greed” and he got none other than Roman Polanski to direct the commerical for the fake perfume starring Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams.
