Francesco Vezzoli likes to incorporate short film in his installations and has a knack for working with major Hollywood stars in the process. His trailer “Democrazy” shown at the 2007 Venice Biennal starred Sharon Stone as a Hillary Clinton-like politician; check out my favorite, the 2005 “A Trailer For A Remake Of Gore Vidal’s Caligula”, which stars Courtney Love as Caligula and features Benicio del Toro and Milla Jovovich.
Vezzoli’s newest installation is “Greed” and he got none other than Roman Polanski to direct the commerical for the fake perfume starring Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams.
