This reminds me of Beirut. I’m loving the whistling in the breakdown at the 3min mark. Is it a “Rockin Robin” sample? or does it just sound like it? This is the bonus track from Andrew Bird‘s album, Nobel Beast.

I adore Beirut and Andrew Bird. Both are artists that can’t be replicated or copied. The music is raw and authentic. What kind of young American dude knows how to play the accordion?! It’s absolutely incredible. It’s mellow and calm but fantastic music.
