the interview show: mutemath
Most will know Mute Math as “those guys with the backwards video” or “those guys who sang the Transformers Movie theme song”… the Michael Bay/Shia LaBeouf/Megan Fox blockbuster.
But there is much more to them than that. The band’s roots are in Christian Rock, but they have purposefully distanced themselves from that in a bid to court Contemporary Rock fans. And so Mute Math seem determined to enter the Modern Rock pantheon, like fellow Southerners Kings of Leon, avoiding pitfalls of Creed or Jars of Clay.
When I sat down with drummer Darren King, and later joined by lead Paul Meany, Darren was willing to talk about seriously spirituality and his relationship with faith. Paul would rather tell jokes. Both were raised in the Deep South in extremely devout (some might say cult-like) communities, so their music is a vehicle for of rebellion and enlightenment.

Janet

Ms Janet is back on tour again after canceling some dates due to vertigo or something. Her publicists did not immediately disclose her condition so speculation was rampant among unreliable media sources that she was ill due to heavy partying, pregnancy, partying heavily while pregnant…
Janet Jackson - The Pleasure Principle (Eli Escobar Remix)
There were also rumors that she had split with Jermaine Dupri because she had vomited on him. That’s probably grounds for splitting up with someone… but I think it would depend on what they ate.
