Nate Dogg Suffers Another Stroke
Nate Dogg is recovering from his second stroke in less than 12 months and is currently in stable condition. In December 2007, the 39 year old former Death Row hook-master was partially paralyzed when he suffered his first stroke. He was on the road to recovery when this setback occurred a couple weeks ago.

I’d like to welcome the newest member to the Winnie Cooper family, Leo coming to us from Berlin via Sweden.
Let me introdcue Niyi, one of London’s finest. He is the kid who took the New Rave extravaganza to the clubs, yeah pretty much.
Besides writing for Super Super, running new clubs every week pretty much, doing something i still havent been able to figure out for Big Brother UK (it has to be an amazing show if he is a weekly feature, im gonna get on that torrent right now), he is also quite the rapper n producer.
Album is coming out soon and this is the sound that is up, I tried it out on the floor this weekend and the german ladies went insane, mix that up with Ben Mono’s new remix of Purple Crush n you have a safe “girl floor filler” situation.
This is a little older, his last single beofre this and most of you have surely already peeped this track, I still wanted to bring it along tho, amazing as it is.

Christina Aguilera Would Be Proud

This has nothing to do with the Hurricane. We had a resident who had an outstanding balance for over a month and no one could get ahold of her. The Bookkeeper went inside after so many tries to leave a note and this is what we found. The pictures do NO justice. There is suppose to be 2 cats living here but we cant find them (we think they’re dead somewhere inside the apartment-we contacted the SPCA). The place REEKS to say the leaks, i gagged non stop.
At least the person keeps their, “computer area” clean, they must be a Winnie Cooper devotee.

The Rapture have a new album out, not a studio album but rather a dj kicks compilation. From the looks of things they will continue their rein of excellence. More info and tracklisting over at Pedestrian TV. This is a previously unreleased track of theirs that showed up on the Grand Theft Auto IV soundtrack.

As Shunda K states in an impromptu interaction with a fan on YouTube, “Ain’t nobody doing it like YO! MAJESTY. There’s no competition.”
She is absolutely correct.
Shunda K and Jwl B make up one of the more interesting indie hip hop acts out there right now. The group is so interesting because they are not really known in hip hop circles–so far, Yo! Majesty have been almost exclusively embraced by the indie scene. They have been featured in magazines like XLR8R and URB, and toured with hipster darlings, CSS and The Gossip.
On top of that, Yo! Majesty are on the UK label, Domino Records—the home of Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys to name a few—and their beats are programmed by UK based electro duo Hard Feelings UK. A curious match considering Shunda is proud to represent “Itty Bitty” Planet City, Florida, USA.
When I called Shunda K from Yo! Majesty to do this interview, I was greeted by a strange gruff female voice. After Shunda took the call, she told me that she and her girlfriend were currently working through a disagreement.
Shunda was polite enough to do the interview—even though it was likely lengthening her stay in the doghouse!
