Johnny more rotten?
Sex Pistols frontman Johnny Rotten is certainly living up to his moniker. A few weeks ago while in Barcelona, John Lydon and his ‘Klan’ left the face of Bloc Party with severe bruising and a split lip in an apparent racist attack. Kele Okereke reported the incident to Spanish authorities, who will most definitely take the matter seriously.
New Bloc Party Mercury remixes are everywhere right now, so here’s something more fitting perhaps… a track off the Love Music Hate Racism compilation album.

I thought it was a shame that the kaizer chiefs guys didn’t get a kicking when they stepped in to break it up. I would have liked that.

me? i don’t really know which is why i called it an ‘apparent’ attack… but that’s what the Guardian had reported (click the link above) and what other bands at the festival had witnessed.
