Here are a couple popular blog-style electro-indy hits. Not sure how well these embody the DIY internet culture that spawned their style, but who cares: they’re catchy and they’re popular.

Katy Perry is a fox. that song is not as good as it could have been though. same with “Just Dance”–it is most of a good song but i just can’t get over the way she pronounces “dance.” the Metro Station one seems pretty good to me right now though, reminds me of Blink-182. that is not meant as an insult.
I hope Metro Station brings out more songs soon!

Katy Perry is average. appeals to the girls. Decent offering from her 2nd album.
